プロシージャルデザインの手法を用いてセラミック３Dプリンタで陶器を作るワークショップ「プロシージャルデザイン×セラミック３Dプリンタ—釉薬と土、そしてお茶とお菓子と私—」を開催しました。
参加者はプロシージャルデザインのツールであるHoudiniやクレイ3Dプリンターなど、最先端の機材を使ったものづくりの手法を学び、またそうしたものづくりについて多角的な視点を持つことで、「現代」と「伝統」、「デジタル」と「アナログ」、「ロボット」と「職人」などが二項対立的に描かれている現代の状況を模索していきます。

We held a workshop titled “Procedural Design × Ceramic 3D Printer—Glaze and Clay, Tea and Sweets, and Me—” for participants to create ceramics using a ceramic 3D printer and procedural design techniques.
Participants learned hands-on techniques using cutting-edge tools like Houdini (a procedural design tool) and clay 3D printers. By experiencing this multifaceted approach to creation, they explored contemporary contexts where dichotomies like “modern vs. traditional,” “digital vs. analog,” and “robots vs. craftsmen” are often described.
